Writing At Wesleyan Presents TEDTalks With Pizza! (RSVP Required)

Next Tuesday, Writing At Wesleyan will host a TEDTalks screening extravaganza. We will watch three TEDTalks featuring prominent writers and eat pizza from Mondo!

If you haven’t ever stumbled upon the magical world of TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design), it’s an organization devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading.” The annual TED conference brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers & doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives in about 16 minutes. We will be showing talks from some of the world’s most passionate writers: author Malcolm Gladwell on nature, happiness, and spaghetti sauce; author Amy Tan on capturing one’s creativity; and Lost and Alias creator J.J. Abrams on mystery.

Date: Tuesday, October 11th
Time: from 7 to 8 P.M.
Place: The Shapiro Creative Writing Center Event Room (Allbritton 311)

RSVP IS REQUIRED!  Please email russellhouse@wes to RSVP.
