Looking for some film-making experience outside of class? Brighter Dawns, a Wesleyan-based non-profit that improves health conditions in impoverished communities in Bangladesh, is holding a film-editing competition to create a short video about the organization’s project this past summer. We are looking for a 2-3 minute documentary-style clip to be used on our website as a summary of the project.

The contest is open to all Wesleyan students regardless of film editing experience level – so if you are interested in participating, please email improve@brighterdawns.org with the subject line “Video Competition” to receive the footage and specifications for the video. We will select a winner in mid-November, and the creator of the winning video will receive credit on our website and anywhere else the video is used as well as an additional $25-value prize.
