Apply to Work for the Writing Workshop!

Are you interested in working with students to help them improve their writing and getting paid to do it? You’re in luck: the Writing Workshop is currently hiring tutors for the spring semester.

You can find detailed instructions on how to submit your application here under “To Apply for Spring 2012 Positions.” Please note that there are two components to the application:

  • An online information form due Friday, October 28 at 5pm
  • An application due Friday, November 4 at 5pm, to be submitted in hard copy to Professor Anne Greene’s office (Downey House Room 207)

As a writing tutor, you will receive a $400 stipend and one course credit in English. All tutors are trained in the Ford Seminar (ENGL 491) which meets on Tuesdays from 12-1pm.

Students from all majors are encouraged to apply.

If you have any questions, please contact Professor Anne Greene (x3604 or agreene@wes) or Ford Fellows Anya Backlund and Katherine Mechling (x2440 or writingworks@wes).

Applications are due on Friday, November 4th at 5 P.M.
