An American, an Irishman, and an Englishman are being held hostage together in Lebanon. Though the basic synopsis of Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me sounds a lot like the beginning of a joke, the play itself is an exploration, in turns hilarious and horrifying, of how these three men strive to retain their sanity and their identity against the madness they face.
