Do you want academic minors at Wesleyan?
Please join the WSA and the Educational Policy Committee today, December 6, at 7:00 PM in PAC 002 to discuss the faculty and student proposal to establish minors at Wesleyan. In the current proposal, a minor would consist of five to seven courses within one or more departments and include a limit of three curricular distinctions (combined majors, minors, and certificates) per student. This is your opportunity to make suggestions, ask questions, and contribute to the proposal to introduce minors to Wesleyan.

i hope this happens
why limit it to academic minors? admit more 17 year olds, right?!
Don’t do it. Especially if we already implemented certificates. This is getting confusing.
I like that we don’t have minors. People take classes for their major and whatever they like besides. Why make the process more confusing? All this will do is compel students to take minor-required classes they wouldn’t otherwise.
the proposal looks awesome- too bad i’m a senior now– will they retroactively grant minors if they are approved and you met the reqs?
