Winter is almost upon us, and Brighter Dawns invites you to get in the spirit of the season with the 2nd annual Gingerbread House Contest! This Saturday, grab a couple of friends and get creative by building your own gingerbread house (or castle/rocket/boat – we want you to think outside the gingerbox!). At the end of the building period, the gingerbread creations will be judged by a team of Bon Appetit’s gingerbread experts, and the winning team will receive a $65 Best Buy gift card!
you can pre-register your team by emailing your names and team name to brighterdawnswes[at]gmail[dot]com. Entry is $4/person pre-registered, $5/person if you sign up on the day of the event. All proceeds will go to Brighter Dawns, helping the organization improve health conditions in slums in Bangladesh.
And best of all, once you’re finished, you can eat your masterpiece – the perfect procrastination-snack combination!
