Shout out to all those interested in participating in a dance thesis performance from Elena Georgieva ’13:
I am currently working on the topic of how dance informs science (and vice versa) in the fields of education and research. A big mix of interdisciplinary ideas, I am looking for people who like thinking outside of the box and who like to share ideas!
Dance and Science backgrounds are helpful, but not necessary; great enthusiasm for exploration of new ideas and collaboration with other people is a MUST!
There will be two separate auditions: one from 4:10 – 5pm and one from 5:10 to 6pm this Saturday.
- When: Saturday, Feb. 2, 4:10-5PM & 5:10-6PM
- Where: Shonberg Dance Studio (247 Pine Str. – behind the Science Center)
- What it’s all about: sciencechoreography.wesleyan.
- Contact: egeorgieva(at)wes
Please wear comfortable clothing and a big smile, bring a friend or two, and if you can’t make it, don’t forget to come see the show in April!
Based on the auditions, if you still want to be a part of the project but you didn’t make it, contact me personally and I might consider adding you.
