Open Call for Student Panelists!

Wesleyan Writing Programs is planning to host student panels on Monday, April 16 and Monday, April 23. And we’re looking to you to guide us in the right direction!

In particular, we’re looking for students who have experience in the following categories:

  • Graphic Novels/Comic Books/Visual Story-Telling
  • Politics/Current Events/Op-Eds/Social Justice
  • Novels/Novellas
  • Film/music/literature/arts critique

If you write in one of the above categories and are interested in sitting on a student panel, please send Ford Fellows Katherine Mechling ’11 and Anya Backlund ’11 an email at writingworks(at)wesleyan(dot)edu. In your email, please explain a bit about your background and why you’re interested in sitting on a panel. We’ll decide on the theme for each panel based on the responses we get.

If you want to join the fun but your writing falls under a completely different genre, message us anyway! We’re eager to uncover all the different kinds of writing students are producing on campus. Check out the Wesleyan Writing Blog for more details!
