Come to a Faculty Panel on Academic Writing at Wesleyan!

Are you struggling to write a paper in a new discipline? Have you ever wondered about where writing for various disciplines differs—or converges? Are you passionate about writing, or interested in teaching?

Come and share your experiences and hear faculty discuss best practices for writing in (and outside of) their disciplines.

Participate in a dialogue with three professors about aspects of academic writing that are common across disciplines. This panel is the culmination of a semester-long seminar for faculty held last fall on the teaching of academic writing.

Panel participants include: Professors Lauren Caldwell (Classics Department), Lisa Dierker (Psychology Department), and Victoria Smolkin-Rothrock (History Department). Professor Sean McCann (English Department) will moderate.

Questions? Email Teagle Fellow Kate Thorpe (kthorpe(at)wesleyan(dot)edu).

*** Dessert will be served. ***
