World, meet visionary Nathaniel Skylar Dolton-Thornton ’15:
Hey! Ever wanted to write children’s or young adult literature? Ever
wanted to illustrate it? Ever wanted to read, discuss, and reminisce
about The Butter Battle Book, Stuart Little, The Polar Express, and
never fully acquiescing to being a muggle?
If so, or if you just don’t really want to grow up and like snacks,
come by the first ever meeting of the Collective for Children’s and
Young Adult Literature at Wesleyan (CCYAL@WES) at 5 pm on Tuesday,
March 6th, in the Shapiro Creative Writing Lounge (ALLB 318). We will
be writing, illustrating, work-shopping, reading, and collaborating on
children’s and young adult literature of all kinds. Check it out!
CCYAL will also periodically be hosting authors, illustrators,
publishers, and other children’s and young adult literature
affiliates throughout the semester, so keep your eyes peeled (and your
imagination / Wesleying tab open)!
Date: It’s on the poster.
Time: Can you really not see the poster for some reason?
Place: Look on the sidebar, then.
Facebook: He even wrote it in the post. Leave me alone!
