HOLI: The Indian Festival of Color @ Foss

Katherine Yagle ’12, critically acclaimed Executive Editor of the Argus and founding manager of Yagle’s Bagles, had a dream that there would be HOLI at Wesleyan. Tomorrow, on Foss, it gets real:

Get down. Get drunk drenched. Get dirty.

It’s HOLI, the Indian Festival of Color, and it’s time to celebrate. Put on your cleanest whites and come to Foss prepared to get rainbow-fied.

Shakti is providing the color powder and the jams. All you need to bring is yourself, your friends, and maybe a water gun.

  • $5 gets you a t-shirt and 2 bags of colored powder (for sale in Usdan the week of Holi)
  • If we run out of t-shirts wear your own white shirt to the event and get one bag free.
  • Every additional bag is $1.

Date: Friday, April 27
Time: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Place: Hoss Fill
Cost: Free
Yagle’s Bagels: Bacefook Facebook

I don’t understand. It says the cost of this event is free, but you have to buy the powder for a dollar? lamesies.

    1. FREE

It is free. All are welcome to join in the festivities at no cost. If you want a bag of color powder for FREE, all you have to do is wear a white tshirt. If you don’t have a white tshirt or don’t have one which you don’t mind ruining with color, you can buy one from us and get 2 bags of free powder. If you don’t want to pay for anything or get anything free, don’t wear a white tshirt.
