Nothing gives me greater joy, or tickles my knees more vividly, than news like this. The Rooks are playing live on Friday (27th) and Saturday (28th) in the ’92 Theater, presented by Second Stage. Garth Fucking Taylor ’12 writes in:
Dearest friends–
For the past several months, The Rooks have been preparing for what is sure to be the shortest residency in a band’s history. That being said, we have some exciting stuff planned, including original music, new covers, and special guests.
Tickets will be available in the box office Friday and Saturday before the performances. The show will start at 10PM on both nights. There will be no smoking or drinking allowed at the concert, and anyone noticeably inebriated will be turned away. Sorry folks, no body shots during the concert. Also, use the potty before hand, because if you leave the venue, it might be near impossible to get back in. Concert sponsored by Second Stage.
