Procrastination Destination du Jour: Spring 2012

So. It has come to this.

It’s that time of year, ladies and gentlemen (and all variations therein). We have reached the woefully short four days known as Reading Week. While we’re all excited to get started on our term papers and get going on those final exams (‘sup, Orgo?), we should all take a moment to procrastinate in honor of our own general lethargy.

It is time for Procrastination Destination 2012. I give you, as the first installment, an absolute waste of time: balldroppings.com. Read on for the details, such as they are.

The page will drop balls. Continuously. You draw some lines with your mouse. The balls bounce of the lines. Pretty simple.

You can adjust the gravity and the rate at which the balls get drops. Don’t set it too high though, it might screw with your computer (too many balls, he he).  If you set up the lines carefully, you can get a perfect rhythm and your computer can double as an awesome metronome.  Some band should use that instead of a drummer, actually. Just have it play on a screen in the background. I’ve got one going right now and I’ve been listening to it for twenty minutes now and I’m not sure it’s going to leave my head when I get up.

Anyways, go nuts. Err, go balls?
