“Waiting In Line For Godot” Spring A Capella Concert Tomorrow

And now, for a post that definitely wasn’t written by any Wesleying blogger I’ve ever heard of:

Wesleyan’s humor a cappella group, Waiting in Line, is coming at you with an Samuel Beckett themed concert in that glass building between the Chapel and the ’92 Theater. We hear it’ll include both singing AND humor at the same time.

Waiting in Line for Godot ( /???do?/ god-oh) is an absurdist a cappella concert by Waiting in Line, in which twelve characters wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot. Godot’s absence, as well as numerous other aspects of the concert, have led to many different interpretations since the concert’s premiere. It was voted “the most significant English language a cappella concert of the 20th century”.
Come see our senior Carolyn Mortell ’12 and her merry band sing some hilarious songs for a while instead of studying, or concurrently with drinking.
