It’s that time of year again! [Half of] the Wesleyan Outdoor Orientation Trips (WOOT!) are over, and now everyone wants an excuse to go play outside. The first Outing Club meeting is tonight at 10 pm in Outhouse (132 High Street — 4 houses past WesWings). Meet the Outhousers, meet your fellow outdoorsy students, get on our listserv, and hear about what we have planned for this weekend. Also: I hear there will be icecream after the meeting. Delicious, delicious icecream.
Whether it’s a canoe paddle ’round Millers Pond, a stroll up to the top of Mt. Higby, a rock climbing adventure or just generally goofing off outdoors, we do it all. And we’re always open to new ideas! If you can’t make it to this week’s meeting, no worries! We’ll be having meetings EVERY TUESDAY at 10pm, and newcomers are always welcome. So stop on by, hang out, talk about places you want to go and things you want to do, eat icecream, and meet new people.
