MiddletownRemix Workshops

Are you tired of just sitting in a room? Here’s your chance to get out and explore Middletown’s sonic landscape while test-driving your inner experimental musician.  CFA Program Manager Erinn Roos-Brown writes in:

MiddletownRemix is part of Music & Public Life, a year-long campus and community-wide exploration of music. MiddletownRemix is a collaborative, place-based sound project that enables participants to develop and express the acoustic identity of Greater Middletown, and to explore and experience the soundscapes of the city.

Join us for a free workshop with UrbanRemix founder Jason Freeman, to learn how to use the cell phone and web application and participate in developing and expressing the acoustic identity of Greater Middletown. Free and open to all ages. Bring your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Android phone if you have one.

Where: Green Street Arts Center, 51 Green Street, Middletown.
When: September 19 (tomorrow) at 6:30 PM; September 20 at noon.
