Are you an artist that recently (or not so recently) dropped some hot fiyaaaah? Then you should submit your music to Waves, Wesleyan’s new music publication. Waves is taking music submissions to be featured on its new website, which launched Saturday. If you want another platform for more ears to hear your music, submit mp3s with a photo, social media information, and a brief blurb about yourself to weswavesmagazine(at)gmail:
On a campus brimming with musical talent, it is only right that there is a publication on hand to document Wesleyan University’s vibrant and eclectic music scene. Waves is a group of Wesleyan students dedicated to providing a vivid illustration of the remarkable artists, bands, acapella groups, radio shows, ensembles, visiting acts and everything else music that Wesleyan has to offer. In addition to documenting the on-campus music scene, Waves will feature pieces about new releases and upcoming artists in the external, non-Wesleyan world of music. Waves will also be coming out with a full-length magazine featuring artist profiles, album reviews, and longer feature articles about everything and anything related to music. Check the site periodically if you’re looking for some music literature or if you’re in need of some new artists to listen to.
