Where on Earth has EON been? Where on Earth is EON going?
The Environmental Organizer’ Network (EON), is a network of environmental and climate activists and a platform for furthering sustainability initiatives in our community. EON has been on a little hiatus, but it’s time we bring it back.
This event is an open discussion for anyone interested in environmental activism to have hir thoughts be heard. EON has been a huge part of student initiatives in the past, and it can be a resource for us again. To make that happen, we need to come together to tackle some big questions like…
What form does it take?
What is its scope?
How will it be run?
Who will run it?
How do we make it more inclusive?
We need your help to make EON the best it can be. Lots of amazing work is happening across campus. We’re especially hoping to empower underclasspeople to join already existing initiatives or start their own initiatives by tapping into the network of environmentally minded individuals on this campus.
Considering the insane climate events we’ve been experiencing, most would agree it’s long been time to seize the day and organize around environment and climate issues.
