Interested in public health and healthcare? Have fun ideas for community service projects? Join Collegiate Health Service Corps (CHSC)!

Collegiate Health Service Corps (CHSC) is a professional development club with the goal of increasing understanding of healthcare professions, health disparities, and cultural competency. CHSC offers opportunities to get involved in healthcare through volunteering and shadowing. Members have the chance to develop their own projects and experience different aspects of public health through service learning that promotes preventative healthcare in the Middletown community.

Benefits of the club include:
-Building leadership skills
-Core training of taking vital signs and understanding cultural competency in healthcare
-First aid and CPR certification upon completion of service learning hours

The core training will be held on Saturday, November 10th, 2012 from 1-4 PM in Allbritton 304.
