Bone Marrow Registry Drive

From Kirby Sokolow ’14:

Wesleyan invites you to help save a life with a simple cheek swab sample.

Will you give 15 minutes of your time to help someone in need?

Every year 10,000 patients need a marrow transplant using blood stem cells from a caring stranger. At Wesleyan University on Friday, December 7 from 11am-4pm in the Usdan University Center, Room 110; learn how you can save a life by joining the Be The Match Registry. Become a marrow donor with some simple paperwork and a cheek swab sample-it takes only 15 minutes! You must be 18-44 years old and in good health. If you later match a patient, most donations can be made through an automated blood donation. Visit Be The Matchto learn more or watch our video.

Registration fees are covered by health insurance or Michael’s Fund of Fall River, MA. Please bring your health insurance card with you if possible. There is not out of pocket expense to anyone wishing to join the registry.
