WeSLAM, Wesleyan’s premiere spoken-word organization, wants to know if you would be interested in participating a 24-hour group slam. Basically what this means is that you would be paired up with a fellow poet on a Friday night, you would brainstorm ideas for a group piece (examples: 1, 2, and 3), and then you would wake up early Saturday morning and get writing. On Saturday night, you would compete against other group poems for a chance at first place.
If this sounds remotely fun to you at all, then please email Coz Deicke ’15 at cdeicke(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.
