2007. USA. Dir: Ethan & Joel Coen. With Javier Bardem. 122 min.
A stalwart hunter tries to make off with a million dollars in cash, but finds himself trailed by a mop-headed, bolt gun-wielding hitman – one terrifying force of nature who is definitely not your “friendo.” The Coens’ tense, nihilistic modern Western provides a good approximation of staring death in the eyes (and poorly coiffed hair).
Tonight. 8pm. Goldsmith Family Cinema. $5.

Having never seen this movie, I wish that the scene put up here didn’t reveal that a character, whoever he is, is killed.
