The Department of Romance Languages & Literatures cordially invites you to a Flamenco workshop-performance on MONDAY, FEB. 25, from 4pm to 6pm in the Crowell Concert Hall. The event is organized in conjunction with Spanish 257 (“Performing Ethnicity”), but all students of Spanish are encouraged to attend.
Rebeca Tomás, one of New York City’s up and coming Flamenco artists, will speak about Flamenco as an art form and will coordinate certain “hands on” exercises to help students gain a better appreciation for this unique cultural expression. She and her company will also perform a selection of pieces from their repertory.
This event is made possible by the generous support of the Thomas and Catharine McMahon Fund.
Date: Monday, February, 25th
Time: 4 PM – 6 PM
Place: Crowell Concert Hall

management of freshwater resources.
The visual art exhibit portion of “Passionate Waters” will run for five weeks. Throughout the course of the exhibit, the MAC650 Gallery will host a variety of water-awareness events. The opening reception on March 22 will feature water-themed performance art.

Dr. Bertier is blissfully married to his beautiful wife, but when an alluring hothead begins a campaign of seduction against the good doctor a hilariously risqué web of infidelity ensues. Filled with charming and innuendo-laden numbers, this musical will make you proud of how naughty the 1930’s could be!
Tonight. 8pm. Goldsmith Family Cinema. Free.
Have I a treat for you!
