Passionate Waters Art Show

From Alexandria Irace ’15:

“Passionate Waters” is a curated water-themed art show that will open on World Water Day (March 22, 2013). In 1992, The United Nations General Assembly declared International World Water Day to be held annually on March 22 as a means of focusing attention on the importance of fresh water and advocating for the sustainable
management of freshwater resources.

The visual art exhibit portion of “Passionate Waters” will run for five weeks. Throughout the course of the exhibit, the MAC650 Gallery will host a variety of water-awareness events. The opening reception on March 22 will feature water-themed performance art.

Time correction: Passionate Waters begins at 6:30pm on Friday, March 22 (not 5:00pm as stated here) The event will be a wonderful night of art, music, dance, poetry, and much more in homage to the most precious natural resource on the planet. Check it out, Wesleyan! :)
