snobs fans! Espwesso’s benevolent dictator Jake Eichengreen ’13 tells us that in one last hurrah before break, Espwesso will be running a special promotion this week. Sunday to Wednesday this week between the hours of 9:00 and 10:30 p.m., members of one class will receive any item on the menu for free, starting Sunday night with Freshman and progressing up to seniors Wednesday night.
So, the schedule will be as follows:
- Sunday: Freshman
- Monday: Sophomores
- Tuesday: Juniors
- Wednesday: Seniors
Remember, kids, this is only between the hours of 9:00 and 10:30. If you don’t frequent Espwesso, you’re missing out on seriously delicious coffee in a seriously cozy spot. Take advantage of this opportunity to get to know the cafe, which is located on the bottom floor of Allbritton.
Really cool message from Ari Ebstein ’16 about an awesome event tonight, urging you to come eat and hopefully also make some food!
Middletown Potluck is happening tonight! It is a space for Wesleyan students and Middletown residents to come together and break bread. Bring food to share with new friends; bring stories to share about yourself; bring open ears, heart, and mind. Let’s create community one meal at a time. :)
Featured speakers on the theme of the Middletown Experience will be:
- Nur Moebius, who will tell her story of how she came to Middletown.
- Arthur Moore, a 9th grade student at the Green Street Art Center interested in poetry and spoken word.
- Jalen Alexander, tutoring coordinator for the Wesleyan affiliation with Traverse Square.
From Ben Zucker ’15:
Want to make music? Want to Be Alive???? Wesleyan’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” (running April 25-27) is looking for musicians to round out our pit orchestra. We are looking for string players, woodwind players (doublers encouraged!), trombonists, and percussionists. If you’re looking to get involved with some theater and to play some beautiful/awesome music, this is the place.
Informal auditions will be held in the Music Studio Lobby on Sunday, March 3, and Monday, March 4, from 4-6 PM. Come ready to play; you don’t have to prepare anything, and expect to sight-read parts of the score. We look forward to having you!
Date: Today, March 3rd and tomorrow, March 4th
Place: Music Studio Lobby
Cost: We’d pay you if we could…
