If you are a Wesleyan DJ hoping to get some neat publicity both on and off campus, the Center for the Arts (CFA) has a great opportunity lined up for you:
The CFA is hosting a DJ competition for Wesleyan students as part of the MiddletownRemix project, a collaborative, place-based sound project that enables participants to develop and express the acoustic identity of Middletown and to explore and experience the soundscapes of the city. Selected students will be commissioned $200 dollars to perform on May 11th at a festival in the North End to celebrate Middletown and the collaborative project.
The competition will have two phases, and the deadline for Phase One is March 31st. Applicants must complete Phase One in order to proceed to Phase Two. More information on the application after the jump.
