The Interreligious Eco-Justice Network will be hosting an Interfaith Youth Climate Corps Retreat on Sunday, April 7 from 12-8 at the deKoven House, 27 Washington Street, Middletown, CT.
The purpose of this workshop is to train high school and college students of faith to be leaders on climate change.
Attendees will hear the latest science on climate change, plus attend workshops on how to frame climate change within the context of faith and how to organize effectively. Workshops will be led by Geoff Carr, Tasmiha Khan (Founder, Brighter Dawns), David Krantz (President of the Board, Green Zionist Alliance) and Justin Haaheim (350.org, Yale Divinity School graduate.)
