From Dana Leib ’14:
Are you interested in the law? Do you like telling people when you object to things? Do you enjoy commanding a room with sexy words like “probative” or “adjudicative”?
Then you should join the Wesleyan Mock Trial Team. We are a student-run organization that competes on a regional and even a national level against other university teams. As we construct cases,we discuss and form legal theories, take on witness roles, and lawyer up.
Whether you’re fluent in legalese or just love the Law and Order marathons, Mock Trial is a great way to develop your public speaking and critical thinking skills while gaining an understanding of the American legal system.
If you can’t make the informational meeting and/or want more information, contact dleib(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.
