Latin@ Identity Student Panel

From Zaida Garcia ’15:

What does it meant to be Latin@ in the United States? Some of us are “fresh off the boat” and some of us have never visited Latin America. Some speak Spanish fluently and others don’t. Being Latin@ encompasses a wide range of countries, races, and experiences, and yet many of us feel connected to each other. Come explore the meaning of “Latinidad” and identity with student panelists Oscar Parajon ’16, Giselle Torres ’16, Daniel Lee ’16, Wesley Close ’15, Andrew Martin ’15, Jay Benedith ’14, and Mary Diaz ’14. Also come eat some yummy homemade refreshments!
