Prepare to be awesome. Prepare to do good. Miranda Linsky ’14 has the details:
We are very excited to announce the 2nd annual WEServe Week of Service, January 19-25. This program will allow alumni, parents, students, faculty, and staff to take on one-time, short-term volunteer commitments that benefit Wesleyan and their home communities. It is uniquely scalable to all geographic areas and fields of interest. All of the details are here.
If you are headed home for winter vacation, this is a great opportunity to give back to where you’re from and ask your friends from home to join you! Or if you get bored staying on campus all winter, plan or join a service project right here in Middletown! All you have to do is submit the project details and show up for the project that day, and we will publicize, take registrations, and mail each captain a project kit.
Last year, there were 39 projects in 17 cities internationally. We hope to double those numbers this year, but we can only do it with your help. Thanks in advance for your support!
