Goodbye Lenin!


From our lovely history buff Shannon Welch ’14:

Goodbye Lenin is a tragicomedy about a young man who must recreate East German culture when his mother comes out of a coma after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Come check out the first of many History Department sponsored film screenings with a discussion led by Professor Erik Grimmer-Solem, and free Thai food!

We want to help you stay warm AND sustainable as the weather gets chillier. Turning down the heat and putting on layers is a great way to save energy. The money saved on energy will help fund financial aid efforts too! What more could you want? Hot cocoa you say? We’ve got you covered! Come to Usdan on December 4th between 12pm-1pm layered in a sweater and we’ll give you hot cocoa in a reusable travel mug! AND IT’S FREE! What an amazing excuse to wear that ugly sweater you love to hate all week long.

Teach-in on Repression of Trans* Activism

pissedofftransAs the SJB hearing for three trans* students charged with degendering campus bathrooms as part of a direct action campaign last month looms closer, allies have organized a teach-in in Usdan today to fill the community in on the facts.

A lot has been happening on campus regarding the de-gendering of bathrooms and the subsequent response from the University.
Come to a student-led info session/discussion about what has been going on.
