Come to see the new documentary about the performance troupe Sins Invalid who are unashamed to claim beauty in the face of invisibility. Their website states “Sins Invalid is a performance project on disability and sexuality that incubates and celebrates artists with disabilities, centralizing artist of color and queer and gender-variant artists as communities who have been historically marginalized from social discourse.” The screening will be in Downey House at 7:30. The film only runs about a half hour and then there will be a brief discussion for those who want to stick around and talk. This is a great short study break during a busy last week of classes. Plus there will be snacks!
When: Wednesday, December 4th, 7:30pm
Where: Downey House 113
Cost: Free! There will be snacks!
