Wesleyan’s Month of Mindfulness

MindfulnessKatie McLaughlin ’15 proposes a peaceful and pleasant way to make it through the next month of winter:

This February, the Peer Health Advocates (PHAs) at Wesleyan are putting together a month of mindfulness. This will consist of four Wednesday night classes (from 6:30-7:30 PM) led by community members and Wesleyan faculty. Each class will give students a brief introduction to different aspects of mindfulness, such as meditation, self-awareness, yoga, etc. In addition to these classes, there will be various events around campus focusing on Mindfulness such as mindful hikes with the outing club, a gratitude yoga workshop with WesBAM and more. People who register are assured a spot and those who attend all four classes will receive a mindfulness gift and a free yoga class.

PHAs will be tabling in Usdan tomorrow from 12:00-1:00 and you can sign up there or using the link below.

Please email Katie at kmclaughlin(at)wesleyan(dot)edu if you have any questions. Sign up now!
