Tired of this never ending winter? Well good news! It’s almost groundhog day and we’re pretty sure it’s spring at Long Lane Farm! Come hang out in our balmy hoophouse (55 degrees fahrenheit!) look/eat some green things, and help repair a chicken coop so we can welcome our new feathered friends come (actual) spring. Hot chocolate, coffee, donuts, and good company will be provided.
From Stellar Levy ’15:
Terpsichore is bigger and badder than ever this semester and is looking for dancers (and choreographers) of all types, sizes, and experience levels to be part of an amazing dance community and performance!
The Terpsichore show is an extremely unique showcase of student dancing and choreography that occurs each semester. Any student can choose to choreograph a dance and will present a short phrase at the auditions. Anyone at the audition can try out for any and all pieces! Dances have included Dracula’s Wedding, Space Jam, ballet, modern dance, 80s workout videos, and some great hip-hop.
If you can’t make it to the auditions and want to participate in Terp this semester, OR you have any questions, please contact us at ctong[at]wesleyan[dot]edu or srwilliams[at]wesleyan[dot]edu
Because DANCING IS HOT.

2013. USA. Dir: Paul Greengrass. With Tom Hanks, Barkhad Abdi. 134 min.
Greengrass’s (United 93, The Bourne Ultimatum) nail-biting, superbly acted docudrama depicts a merchant ship hijacked by Somali pirates. The escalating situation culminates in an intense standoff with the U.S. Navy that pits two “captains” together in the most extreme of circumstances.
Tonight. 8pm. Goldsmith Family Cinema. $5.
