Connect@Wes: Creating Connections
Creating Connections is a speed-networking event designed to help you polish and improve your networking and presentation skills and will help you put into practice much of what we discussed during our drop-in appointment. Once you apply and are accepted to the program you will be matched with Expert Advisors (recruiters, hiring managers, alumni & parents) for brief one-on-one sessions allowing you to practice your pitch and build professional relationships.
Students accepted to Creating Connections will be invited to attend a reception on the evening of the 28th with Expert Advisors and members of the Board of Trustees.
I strongly encourage you to apply to this exciting on-campus networking opportunity and to register for additional career-related workshops and events throughout the Connect@WES February weekend. Please note the application deadline for Creating Connections is Feb 11 at 11:59 pm on MyCC.
srsly… what’s this campus culture coming to
I hear there is going to be an open bar at the networking reception with the Board of Trustees! Perfect professional senior outing that isn’t dry.
