As part of a nation-wide Day of Mourning, Wesleyan Students for Disability Rights will be holding a vigil Saturday, March 1, 2014 to honor the lives of disabled people murdered by their families and caretakers. These deaths often go unnoticed and unmourned with some even going so far as to say that it was mercy killing or for the better. The Autism Self Advocacy Network organized this vigil and we will be one of many satellite locations. The vigil will take place in the Usdan courtyard or inside Usdan (Usdan 136) if the weather is too cold. Please join us in mourning the lives that have been cut too short and support those still trying to live.
Start Date: Saturday, March 1, 2014
Start Time: 7pm
Place: Either Usdan Courtyard or Usdan 136 (if the weather is too cold)
