Leila Bordreuil is a cellist, composer and sound artist. As a cellist, she prepares her cello with metal objects and sex toys, and uses her
instrument as a resonant chamber through an elaborate and unique vocabulary of extended techniques.She has performed and exhibited at The Whitney Museum, The Bowery Electric, Roulette, Issue Project Room, The Silent Barn, Death by Audio, the Miami Electronic Music Biennale, and the Performa Biennale in New York, among others.
