Interfaith Anti-Oppression Dinner

From Haenah Kwon ’17:

Hello beautiful people, you guys are all looking beautiful today. Middletown Potluck invites you beautiful people to Interfaith Anti-Oppression dinner, which will be happening from 6:00-9:00PM THURSDAY (TODAY) AT ADATH ISRAEL. Adath Israel is placed in 8 Broad Street – super close walk from campus, but we will also have a van driving up there from 200 Church.

We will have amazing speakers (including those representing Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, and Black communities) who will share songs, prayers, meditations, stories, food, and so much more to be part of the fight against oppression. You can all participate in the discussions we will have. You can bring food, but you are also welcome without any. (We will have amazing food.) Just bring love.

If you are recently feeling a bit stressed and out of love, you should definitely come. If you are recently feeling full of love, you should also definitely come. Even if you can’t make it to the whole thing, join the movement of interfaith and love by just being there.

Date: TODAY, April 17th
Time: NOW, 6pm-9pm
Place: Adath Israel (8 Broad St.)
