From the lovely Caillin Puente ’15:
You may have seen our other Wesleying post for story submissions or our lovely Students for Consent and Communication members tabling in Usdan- but for anyone who has not heard, Take Back the Night is upon us!
TBTN is a global movement to end sexual violence and support survivors. The night is about creating a safe space for survivors to share their stories and for the community to come together and commit to ending the silence surrounding this issue.
The night will involve performances on Foss, a short march, two speak out circles where survivors are invited to share stories and a candle light vigil at the end of the night. There will also be a debriefing room following the event for those who want to seek support. For more information please see our Facebook event or contact Caillin Puente (cpuente[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) or Nina Gurak (ngurak[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) with questions or concerns.
