There’s something about finals that somehow make binging on Netflix even more enticing. So to aid you in your procrastination, I sat down with an Anonymous Film Major ’14 who gave a short review of some of the May and April releases, so that you could have a Reader’s digest digest of what’s what on the ‘flix.

Boys Don’t Cry: Hilary Swank won her first Oscar for that movie.

Forrest Gump: A timeless classic.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 + 2: There are so many severed arms… I threw up watching it. Well, almost threw up.

Hook: You’ll never see Dustin Hoffman the same way again.

The Big Chill: Well, I’ve never seen it but the soundtrack is great.

From Russia with Love: Sean Connery… I don’t know…

Much Ado About Nothing: Joss Whedon was at the Wesleyan screening last year.. pretty sick.

Why aren’t all of the thesis films up here?!`

Pain and Gain: I heard Jeanine Basinger loves this movie.

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington: One of the best movies ever.

Bob’s Burgers: Bob loves burgers. Tina loves butts.

Click: The worst fucking movie I’ve ever seen. I walked out of the theater. Actually… I might have stayed until the end, but I was very mad.

Mean Girls: It came out 10 years ago… Don’t you feel old?

The Odd Couple: Can’t go wrong with Jack Lemmon.

Robinson Crusoe On Mars: Oh my god—What is that? That’s amazing.

Wild Things 2: I wonder if there are more lesbian sex scenes.

The Muppets Take Manhattan: My favorite Muppets movie is still Treasure Island. Actually Muppets Coldplay.
