From Katie McLaughlin ’15:
To all new students, come join the Wesleyan Outing Club and explore New England!
WOOTs (Wesleyan Outdoor Orientation Trips) provide small groups of first-year students/transfers/new students with an opportunity to meet new people while spending time in the great outdoors. Experienced students, faculty, and staff lead trips focused on group bonding, helping first-year students adapt to life at Wesleyan, and enjoying rustic New England.
The program is designed for participants of all experience levels and fitness levels. No experience is necessary for any of these trips. Whatever trip you end up on, you will probably have a good time, meet some new people, visit some beautiful places, and learn about the outdoor scene at Wesleyan.Applications are due by August 15, so apply today! Trips take place the first weekend after classes start (September 5th)
