Noah Mertz ’17 has an invitation for you:
What’s that, you say? You hear it? Softly, at first . . . then, growing louder. It is a call! Is it coming from outside your window, or from within yourself? Who is to say. . . It swells, unavoidable and seductive. It is the call . . . to the outdoors!
If you hear it, heed it well, and join the group that answers: the Wesleyan Outing Club! We are a collection of lovers of all things outdoors. Join us, at your leisure, at our ~weekly~ meetings, which take place at Outhouse (132 High Street), every Tuesday at 10 p.m. At meetings, we plan the outings for the coming week/weekend, enjoy delectable delicacies, and enjoy the warmth of friendship by the (bricked-in) fireplace. Feel free to (and please do!) come with outings you’d like to lead, suggestions for outings you’d like to attend, or simply to hang out and take a break from whatever you’re up to at that time (maybe hw? idk). As always, meetings are open to all; come to as many or as few as you’d like, and attendance is not necessary in order to embark on any outings! We communicate the outings via weekly emails and on the Wes Outing Club Facebook page. We hope to see you at some meetings, and out on the trails!
Date: Today, September 9th
Place: Outhouse (132 High Street)
