The newly minted Center for East Asian Studies has a wonderful lineup of talks and events this semester, including their monthly Chinese Lunch Series. The Japanese lunches will begin in October.
Tuesday’s presenter will be Visiting Assistant Professor Yingzhi Zhao, whose topic is: “??????” [“A 17th- Century Garden
Painting”]. A table discussion in Chinese will follow the presentation.
All native speakers and learners are invited. And best of all, lunch will be provided!

Join Clinic Escorts! We escort clinic patients and their families from their car to the clinic door. This group supports a women’s health
clinic in Bridgeport when abortions are scheduled (and protestor presence is the strongest) on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Students of all genders are encouraged to join. Volunteers only need to go once or twice a semester, or how many times you wish!

Do you like friendship? chilling? eating? doing activities? Whatever you answered, Best Buddies is DEFINITELY for you. Best Buddies is a student group that pairs Wesleyan students with students from the Middlesex Transition Academy, a school for students with disabilities right down the street, with a goal of building friendships. We eat lunch with our Buddies each week in Usdan, and we plan fun events, including bowling, attending Wesleyan athletic events, and community projects. Come learn more and make some new friends!
