Relay for Life Informational Sessions

Come to Relay for Life’s informational session to learn about what it means to be on the Wesleyan committee that plans Relay for Life. Come to one of our two information sessions on Tuesday night in Usdan 108 or Wednesday night in Usdan 110, both at 7pm, to learn more and help be a part of a great cause!

Unlocked Magazine General Interest Meeting


Interested in sex? Artistic things? Possibly both? Come to the interest meeting for Unlocked, Wesleyan’s one and only arts and sexuality magazine. We’re looking for models, poets, photographers, erotica writers, illustrators, sexologists, essayists, and everyone in between. Come share your thoughts about sex at Wes and talk about the future of Unlocked!

Board Games & Bubbles

Come play one of the MANY (seriously) board games at the Alpha Delt house–bring your friends and meet some new people! Drop in for a quick round of Apples to Apples, or annihilate the noobs in a game of Risk. Things getting too heated? We have tons of ~*bubble wands*~ to play with!

CEAS Lunch Series

The newly minted Center for East Asian Studies has a wonderful lineup of talks and events this semester, including their monthly Chinese Lunch Series. The Japanese lunches will begin in October.

Tuesday’s presenter will be Visiting Assistant Professor Yingzhi Zhao, whose topic is: “??????” [“A 17th- Century Garden
Painting”]. A table discussion in Chinese will follow the presentation.

All native speakers and learners are invited. And best of all, lunch will be provided!

Information Session for Study Abroad Programs in Germany

Then come to this information Session! Professors from German Study Department and returning students from the programs will be there giving informations and lots of fun stories! Some pizzas and drinks will be served.

Clinic Escorts Training/Info Sessions

Are you interested in reproductive justice issues? Angered at some recent Supreme Court rulings? Don’t know where to show your support?

Join Clinic Escorts! We escort clinic patients and their families from their car to the clinic door. This group supports a women’s health
clinic in Bridgeport when abortions are scheduled (and protestor presence is the strongest) on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Students of all genders are encouraged to join. Volunteers only need to go once or twice a semester, or how many times you wish!

Best Buddies Info Session

Do you like friendship? chilling? eating? doing activities? Whatever you answered, Best Buddies is DEFINITELY for you. Best Buddies is a student group that pairs Wesleyan students with students from the Middlesex Transition Academy, a school for students with disabilities right down the street, with a goal of building friendships. We eat lunch with our Buddies each week in Usdan, and we plan fun events, including bowling, attending Wesleyan athletic events, and community projects. Come learn more and make some new friends!
