From Tess Jonas ’15:

Audition for Wesleyan’s independently produced, outdoor production of Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM!

We are looking for a high-energy cast ready to bring some Shakespeare in the Park to Wes! No experience necessary, just a desire to perform and maybe act like an ass… (see what we did there?!)

Audition Dates:
Friday January 30 – 3-7PM – Jones Room
Saturday January 31 – 1-5PM – Jones Room
Callbacks will be Sunday February 1.

Please prepare ANYTHING that excites you! We want you to bring something that you’re comfortable with so that you aren’t reading off of a piece of paper. Some ideas: a monologue (Shakespeare or not!), a poem, a slam poem, an epic poem, a sonnet, a limerick, a song (sung or spoken!), a knock knock joke, a standup routine, an impersonation, a story about your childhood… anything goes as long as it has some English in it. Since Shakespeare was English.

Show Details:
Performances will be Friday April 24, Saturday April 25, and Sunday April 26 at 6PM in the Russell House Garden.
