From Derrick Holman ’16:

On April 25th, Wesleyan has entrusted Derrick Holman ’16 and Ismael Coleman ’15 with a bus and $$$ to bring a group of students to a music festival in Washington D.C. called Broccoli City Festival. #BCFest is the social venture of a company called Broccoli City, their mission being to promote more environmentally sustainable lifestyles to urban communities in cool and relevant ways. The festival will be headlined by Erykah Badu, Joey Bada$$, Kaytranada, Tink, and Kali Uchis and feature many more. Thanks to the Green Fund, Wesleyan will be paying for this trip which will culminate with an on-campus, post-festival workshop event hosted at Wesleyan, organized by those who attend, and open to the entire campus. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in any of the following: environmental sustainability, social justice, hip-hop culture, landscaping and eco-design, event-planning/festival organizing, videography, photography, workshop planning, community organizing, community development, and more. If you are interested and would like more information, you can find info here and / or email Derrick Holman (dcholman[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) with questions.

**This is a sustainability event and volunteering is mandatory.**

If you are interested and would like to attend, APPLY NOW.
This is for Wesleyan Students only. Tell a friend. Space is limited. Applications due March 25th!
