Attention seniors and recent alumni! Are you interested in civic engagement, community service, and social entrepreneurship? Apply to be the 2015-2016 Civic Engagement Fellow! This one-year position involves working closely with offices across campus – including the Center for Community Partnerships, Allbritton Center, Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship, and Service-Learning Center – to support students and faculty in civic engagement endeavors.
Another fantastic opportunity situated within the CCP is the 2015-2016 Center for Prison Education Fellowship, where the Fellow coordinates and oversees many aspects of Wesleyan’s college programs at Cheshire and York Correctional Institutions.
The review of applications for these one-year positions will begin on Wednesday, April 1. The fellowships are open to anyone, but Wesleyan seniors and alumni are strongly preferred. Current Civic Engagement Fellow Rosy Capron ‘14 (scapron[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) and CPE Fellow Shannon Nelson ’14 (senelson[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) will gladly answer any questions.
