Mary Zimmerman’s adaptation of Ovid’s epic features ten vignettes, 100 characters, nine actors, three mops, one pair of angel wings, three golden apples, two blindfolds, varying amounts of sex, death, gods, and love and its transformative properties, and a swimming pool.
