Appropriate Behavior Screening

11146442_897342696997120_7145300978592873979_oMichigan’s premier dung hunter, otherwise known as Jana Heaton ’14, is back to terrorize the campus with behavior that is anything but appropriate:

Desiree Akhavan’s “winning first picture” (accolades from NY Times critic/Wesleyan prof A.O. Scott) will be showing in gloriously crisp DCP projection this Tuesday at the Film Series! Premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Appropriate Behavior stars Akhavan as Shirin, a bisexual Persian American woman in Brooklyn struggling to rebuild her life after a break up that leaves her stumbling through one hilarious sexual misstep after another.

Join us for the movie and a very special skype Q&A with writer/director/actor Desiree Akhavan, moderated by our very own Jana Heaton ’14.

This film also had heavy Wesleyan student and alum involvement, and you might recognize some of your peers in a cameo or two including a particularly salacious one from Jana Heaton.

Come out and support your peers, blossoming comic powerhouse Desiree Akhavan and this wonderful film we all worked so hard to bring to life!
