Take Back the Night is a global movement to end sexual violence and support survivors. The night is about creating a safe space for survivors to share their stories and for the community to come together and commit to ending the silence surrounding this issue. Everyone is invited to attend the event.
The night will involve performances on Foss, a short march and two speak out circles (on the CFA Green and on Andrus field) where survivors are invited to share their stories. The night will conclude with a candle light vigil. There will be a debriefing space available throughout the whole event with therapist Alysha Warren available to anyone who wants to talk. For more information please see our Facebook event or contact Caillin Puente (cpuente[at]weslyean[dot]edu) or Jennie He (jhe02[at]wesleyan[dot]edu)
