Info Session for Advanced Children’s Books

kids booksFrom Professor Amy Bloom:

Do you still remember the first book you loved? Still have it? Still love it? Have you written one (or a few) children’s books on your own? If you have some visual art skills and some serious storytelling impulses, come by the Shapiro Center to learn more about Amy Bloom’s Creating Children’s Books class, taught in spring 2016! Amy and a previous student will answer questions about the class and application process, and snacks will be provided!

Whether you are looking to create a book that will launch your career (or at least get you an interview), create a series that changes the world of children’s books or write a book that you’ll cherish forever, learn more about a chance to craft a book of your very own.

Date: Tuesday, November 3
